IIS

IIS is a web server application and a set of feature extension modules created by Microsoft for use with Microsoft Windows. It is the most used web server after Apache HTTP Server. IIS is used to host websites and other content on the World Wide Web. It can also be used to host web applications and services. IIS supports HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, FTPS, SMTP and NNTP. It also has a number of security features, including authentication, authorization, SSL encryption, and URL rewriting. IIS is also extensible, allowing developers to create custom modules to extend its functionality.
